Long time, since last time

Okey.. its been awhile now - but lets post some stuff

First of.. i have been working on different stuff lately - 3D animations, Designs of websites and posters etc etc...
Somethings more fun then others.

Because of my extra workload i had to take a leave of absence from Animation Mentor..
But ill be starting again in the end of the month :D

Im also going to Roskilde Festival ´09 on the 27. of june! :D its gonna rock !!

Well.. you might ask yourself: What has Bárður been working on (or you might not.. you might not care at all.. but what the heck :P )

One fun project i worked on lately was a poster that was to be given to all the kids in the Faroe Islands :D
here it is:

I was mainly made up of some earlier work of mine - for a childrens book
and i just mixed it together to get a background.. and then i added all the characters and stuff
I had a deadline of 1½ day - but hell.. i made it :D

In other news. im going to roskilde Festival this year, and thus i have been designing my own flag for our camp (Camp Seyðarhøvd - (Sheephead) )
Heres the flag

Crazy - ehh? :P

What else is there to say?.. hmm

Well - i have also been working on some stuff for a website.
The website is for a festival here on the Faroe Islands called : Summar Festivalurin (The summer festival)... heres the website: www.summarfestivalur.fo

DarkBone Studios

Here i am.. Back again:

So im gonna tell you a little story -
Me and my friend Eyðstein Lützen once upon a time, some years back - were dreaming of making a studio of some kind (gaming, Animations, movies.. stuff like that) once in our lifetime.. and we settled on a name:
InterGalactic Studios.. and it has stuck with us (or me atleast) until recently, when i started rethinking the whole "studio" concept..
heres some old "intergalactic Studios" logos:

Well thats infact the only logo i have.. :P lol

On with the "story" .. I started rethinking the concept and came up with a bunch of names..
i tried to find a name that fits well with current studios - such as:
Pixar, Disney, Blur, Weta, ILM, Rhythm and Hues, Framestore, Digital Domain, etc etc....

And i came up with DarkBone.. it might not fit that well - but i think it has a certain "not to serious.. yet cool sounding" thing over it.. just like: "Three Legged Legs" and others..

here are some logo tests:

Concepts:

Im still working on a final design decision.. but so far i think its alright..

.. well - i just wanted to post this here.. for whom ever it might concern

Week 4

Im back with some stuff from week 4.. It was darn much fun making this assignment.

INTRODUCTION TO TIMING AND SPACING:
Timing: How long an object takes to get from point A to point B.
Spacing: The visual distance from one frame to the next.

We basically had to animate two balls with different weights..
heres my go at it..
There was no Pose assignment for this week:
